We are open for enquiries. Create an account to save a private brief, add reference images and submit your idea for review. PayPal is available after you accept a studio quote. No charge until you approve payment.
An independent way of making.
Own Object is a small, independent design-and-making studio. We keep customer conversations, digital design and printing within the studio, with our own Bambu Lab X2D used for all printing tasks.
Keeping printing in-house gives us direct oversight of the making process. You can discuss your piece with the studio producing it, while important details, practical limits and agreed changes stay connected to your brief.

Direct conversations. Discuss your idea with the studio handling the printing, rather than separating the brief from the making.
Reviewed before making. Model, size, colours and small details need a feasibility review. Any change to the agreed scope or design still needs your approval.
Equipment images are AI-retouched from our own photographs: lighting, reflections and surroundings have been refined, and small details may have been reconstructed. They are not unaltered records or finished-product quality samples.

A familiar companion
A pet’s markings, ears or favourite sitting pose. We want to begin with the traits you love, while being clear about what the available photos leave uncertain.
A moment together
A wedding, an anniversary or an everyday memory. The number of people, pose and shared details would be reviewed as one clearly scoped project.
A conversation before a commitment.
The enquiry process begins with a free human assessment, not an instant promise from a photograph. We discuss the features that matter most, what could be simplified and what needs more information.
A complete quote comes next. Digital design starts only after you accept the scope and make one payment. The starting scope includes one 2D direction revision and one small 3D revision, with the limits explained in the quote.
Making follows your explicit approval of a specific design version. No reply is not approval, and an earlier project’s approval does not carry over to a new commission.

Character and scene images on this website are AI-generated design concepts, not Own Object delivery examples. Equipment images are AI-retouched from our own photographs. Neither is a finished-product quality sample or evidence of a completed customer commission.
A digital concept is not a photograph of a finished piece. Size, material and finishing can change colour, surface and fine details. Reference images, digital previews and our own physical samples need to be identified separately.

Use only images you own or have permission to share, and upload only the information needed for your idea. Follow the saving notice and reference guidance in your customer space; explain any missing views rather than adding unrelated personal information.
